We picked Newman Builders to re-construct an older bungalow. We met with Glen and got the plans started with his friend Dario (architect) and we off to the races. From the very first meeting until the last visit today, we could not be happier with service, professionalism, and work that Glen and his crew performed. Changes were discussed, implemented and completed, all to our satisfaction. The little extras were a bonus. The neighbors were very impressed with the worksite, as the noise and the mess were never present. The house is now our home and we love it. Glen and his team did an outstanding job on our raise/renovation project! It was a major undertaking to raise a 90 year old house up on pilons, modernize it, bring it up to current standards, and retain major original elements. Now, it's been 3 months since project completion and the house has gone through several long-duration windstorms, pounding rain, and yes, even a minor earthquake. We absolutely still see the quality and professional work that the Newman Building team has put into the project! Glen and his project coordinator, Linda, always communicated with us throughout the entire project, which we thought was highly professional. Another huge plus was that he guided us in the right direction on many decisions that had to be made on the spot due to several unexpected problems that got uncovered on such an old structure. Glen and his team handled each challenge with professionalism, clear guidance, an excellent execution. His team knew exactly how to work with the town on permits and modifications to the plan too, and we found that expertise to be invaluable. We had to be able to trust our contractor on such a major undertaking where the risks were high, and the Newman Building team went above and beyond in earning that trust.
